We had to turn all the settings to their absolute minimum to get the game to run even moderately well. With the game set at high quality on a MB machine, it'd be an overstatement to call the result a slide show. To reduce the amount of hitching due to hard drive accesses, we'd highly recommend defragmenting your hard drive.

It sounds like you have Origin set to install in a different location.

Go to Application Settings from the Origin menu and check to see where it is installing. That should tell you where your game files are. It would reappear if you moved the screen slightly, but it would do this every time. That resulted in the game crashing instantly, so I had to uninstall and reinstall the game 3 times.
