Key Features: The rims are made of extremely high precision aluminium extrusions which make it possible to eliminate all excess material, so they are ultra-light but at the same time very strong.

The front and rear wheel profiles are differentiated: the 26mm height for the front guarantees excellent aerodynamic penetration, while the 30mm of the rear wheel means extremely effective transmission of your pedalling power and improved aerodynamic performance.

Both rims feature the special Fulcrum lightening between the anchoring points of the spokes and the patented Dynamic Balance system that guarantees the maximum stability of your bike even at high speeds. The hubs have a carbon fibre body and aluminium flange; these hubs use a larger number of bearings which makes them some of the smoothest hubs around, they'll also last longer. The hubs use Ceramic USB Ultra Smooth Bearing bearings, specially developed by Fulcrum they significantly increase the smoothness of the wheels, reduce servicing needs, and further decreasing weight.

The spokes are aluminium aero spokes arranged in a radial pattern on the front wheel for better aerodynamic penetration and in the Fulcrum pattern on the rear wheel for immediate transmission of pedal stroke with no dissipation of energy. The nipples are also aluminium, further reducing rotational mass making a quicker, more reactive wheelset. Includes: Two unpadded wheel bags, spoke anti-rotation ring, nipple guide magnet, spoke key and front and rear dual pivot quick releases.

Spoke Count: 16 front, 21 rear. Rim: Clincher, only compatible with clincher tyres. The weight of the wheels does not include quick releases and refers to the lightest configuration. Product Details. Racing Zero. Braking Surface Type:.

Overall Rating : 5. Create a review. Also I have a set of carbon wheels, which I have had problems with side winds. With these wheels there is no effect with stability. The side load is zero. Great workmanship, plus it is a lighter wheel. I'M age 74 and need all the help I can get , these wheels give me that extra push. After ordering the notification email stated 14 day delivery.

The rims arrived after only 5 days. So happy! I noticed an immediate difference. Better handling and extremely improved power transfer for acceleration and climbing. Very happy with these rims. I have been riding on Fulcrum wheels for years now, and have never had a complaint.

My better half gifted these to me as a well deserved, although not needed, upgrade. My old wheelset was a pair of Fulcrum Racing Quattro that are still very much in use depending on my ride plan. I am ever grateful!!! They are quiet, smooth, fast and responsive.

I paired these with my first ever Schwalbe tires and I undertook some component maintenance for a strong supporting cast for these new stars to the show. Like a new bike? These Racing Zeros are super quiet. The freewheel is like a ninja.

My Quattros were never noisy, but the Zeros are just noticeably absent of sound. It took a touch of getting used to, initially. The brake pad rim engagement is also super quiet also; but there is no delay in deceleration or stopping. Oh what a joy they are! You know that feeling of being able to pedal forever? These babies will coax you into PR after PR. It's like butter, baby Upgrading in the same line has proven to be wonderfully informative and I love the Fulcrum brand.

This Fulcrum Racing Zero wheelset is well worth the price. If the addage that a wheelset is the best dollar for dollar upgrade on a rig, than I thin these are definitely worth your consideration. Safe riding!!! These wheels are a replacement for the stock Roval wheels which came on my Tarmac, apparently an equivalent replacement by some experts.

The Rovals needed replacement due to rim split at the spokes, 4 to be precise. After 15K kilometers I'm told this is to be expected.

So after kms on these new wheels I have to say that I am quite pleased, they feel light and with that comes responsiveness on attacks up the hills.

They do catch the cross wind more than my old wheels but that is probably due to the wider flat spokes compared to my round ones on the Roval. Possibly these same flat spokes make headwinds easier. The rim brakes are sure, no excessive noise here. They expect 25mm tyres but I have some new 23mm which I need to use and I placed that in front and have not had any worry.

I would recommend these to a friend. Great wheels. Accelerate well. Bought these to ride the winter. Have a set of envys that I love. These wheels are close. I have other sets of aluminum wheels and these are better. The racing zero alloy clincher is the top of the line in its category for good reason.

These are both lightweight and bombproof, two things that normally do not go together in cycling. The C17 rim accommodates today's wider tires - I'm running 28's and it rides wonderfully - smooth yet stiff. The ceramic bearings were immediately noticeable to me for their smoothness. Taking the stickers off the rims is a chore but the clean solid black rim is worth the effort. A note of caution - the adhesive remover I used accidentally erased the small warranty sticker that is required to remain on The good news is I have ridden Fulcrums for many years and never had a warranty issue.

These replace a set of the Racing 4s and the upgrade was well worth it. First wheel upgrade from a set of Shimano WH-R wheels. The Shimanos were not bad and gave years of trouble free service, but the difference with the Fulcrums is immediately apparent. As a wheel rookie I don't know about the technical aspects, but I do know that these wheels will put a smile on your face and make you want to get up early and ride.

For other wheel rookies- the polished silver spots and small bits of tape on the inside of wheel are normal. Had the narrower version of these a few years ago and when needed some alloys for the good bike these were first choice. Spin forever with the ceramic hub. Light, look great. Zero negatives. Even got free tyres!

Fast delivery too, so top marks for probikekit too. Added to your cart. Sorry, there seems to have been an error. Please try again. Product Name Quantity:. Continue Shopping.
