Yes, I'm giving this 4 stars, because I want to give Joe D'Amato credit for actually making an effort on a film where he honestly didn't really have to. I expected something different from this movie than I ended up getting. I expected a mostly lame and overly long rip off with a few highlights - but not that it's actually a pretty good movie. If anything this movie is a little tamer than you would think, which is weird considering it's from the director of 'Antropophagus' and he isn't….
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth. Lol this might be sleazier than the Brass one bc Joe D'Amato's a fucking sicko freak - there's an all timer sleaze moment towards the end that had me and the friend I was watching it with hollering - solid gore and good central performance but whew boy I am unable to recommend this to literally anyone lmao.
Within the first couple of minutes, Michele Soavi gets his tongue cut off, followed by countless extensive scenes full of sleaze, filth, and violence. Just like the original, though, it gets repetitive quite fast, and it's simply too long with its over two hours of running time. Version: Full Last Release A pixel-based indie shooter set against the backdrop of amazingly detailed landscapes of Pripyat, it tells the story of a hero-mercenary in a protective suit, sent on an important mission - to clear a radioactive city from an infected population turned into dangerous zombies, find survivors and take them to safety.
The game is available in Russian and in Russian voice acting. Size: Mb. If you come across it, the password is: online-fix. The long dark. When it's all said and done I had no desire to ever see this lost Marvel movie, bootlegged or otherwise. I watched the Fantastic Four recently, and it was an absolute piece of shit. But then this documentary, which explains the whole process and how big of dicks the higher-up were, helps put things in some perspective.
The subject itself is pretty fascinating, but this documentary is pretty much just static shots of talking heads cut to footage from the original movie. You do end up feeling for the original cast and crew, but on the other hand, the movie they made is still a huge piece of shit, and I don't think more money would have fixed that. The story, of course, was that the film was never meant for release but to keep rights to a property and to shield a future giant Marvel from shame and infamy.
Can it, they did. And an underground legend was born, while…. Review by Mr. You know, I'm Sicilian, so I got that thing in me that says, "I'm gonna go fuck someone up for this," you know? It's basically the "making of" The Fantastic Four Considering how many key players take no part in this, director Marty Langford does a pretty good job. The "untold" part of the story though is mostly the making of since the people who had the film made solely to keep the rights of the FF have absolutely nothing to say on camera.
Still nice to see these guys get some recognition no matter how god awful their film ended up being. The story about the legendarily bad Roger Corman Fantastic Four movie. The main problem with this documentary is it's lack of pizazz. While it's interesting at times, it's hard to hold my interest when the whole thing is nothing but interviews. Perhaps this could have worked better as a short doc or something.
